Selected to row in the women's youth four at the Head of the Charles... Captured bronze in the varsity quadruple sculls at Head of the Riverfront... Elected varsity team captain for fall season.

As a junior (2016-17)
Finished 20th in the pair at the USRowing Youth National Championships... Captured bronze in the novice single sculls at the Head of the Schuylkill... Finished in the top half of the field in the women's youth four at the Head of the Charles... Outstanding Novice Award Recipient... Won gold in the novice (2k) event at Ironmen Erg Classic.

Ariel's most memorable sporting achievement is mastering her first box jump... The most influential people in her sporting career have been previous team captains... In her free time Ariel volunteers at a local hospital and acts as Vice President of her school's student council... She plans to study biology and row in college next fall with the long term goal of becoming a pediatrician.
