Give the Gift of New Boats
For 25 years, Rockland Rowing Association has transformed lives through rowing. We invite you to help launch the next 25.
Give the Gift of New BoatsFrom River Rowing to Rockland Rowing
In 2001, a small group of rowers had a big idea. They called it River Rowing: a handful of boats, a lot of determination, and a dream of building something lasting on the water. Today, that dream is Rockland Rowing, a thriving community on our beautiful lake, home to a youth team racing and winning at the local and national level, an adaptive program changing lives, and a masters team that keeps growing stronger every season.
Many of our boats were secondhand when we bought them decades ago: workhorses that have carried thousands of strokes, thousands of races, thousands of members' first taste of what it feels like to move as one with a crew. They've earned their retirement. Now it's our turn to help our rowers get the equipment they deserve.
Every dollar given to our boat fund this fall goes directly toward new boats.
Our 2026 Boat Wishlist
Seven boats, sized for the rowers who will race them. Sponsor a whole boat, or give any amount and help us get there together.

Put a Name on the Water
Fully sponsor a boat and naming rights are included: your name, a family member's, or someone you want to honor, on a boat our rowers will race for years. For boats we purchase through pooled giving, we'll auction off the right to name them at the Gala.
Give the Gift of New Boats
Give generously, give boldly, and help us launch the next 25 years the right way: in boats as strong as the community that rows them.

Prefer to give by check, or want to talk through sponsoring a boat? Contact Maskit at maskit@rocklandrowing.org.
Double your gift. Many employers match charitable donations, some dollar for dollar. Ask your HR department about a matching gift program, or check when you give. A matched $500 puts a pair of oars in a brand-new boat.
Rockland Rowing Association is a 501(c)(3) community nonprofit. Thanks to the generosity of our friends, families, and alumni, our youth programs stay affordable through below-cost pricing and financial assistance, our adaptive programs are offered completely free of charge, and our masters program continues to grow. Gifts to the boat fund are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
