Individuals, local corporations, foundations, and governments can greatly increase Rockland Rowing's impact.  We are a not-for-profit community rowing association and are funded through program dues, charitable donations, and grants. Program dues cover part of our operating costs - which include coaching salaries, insurance, equipment maintenance, and rent. However, to keep rowing affordable to all area families and individuals, our program fees do not cover all our costs and we offer financial assistance to those in need. Furthermore, to purchase rowing and related equipment we rely on the generosity of a range of individual and corporate donors and both private and public grant providers. These grants and donations help us pay for high quality coaching and allow us to buy rowing shells, oars, docks, coaching launches and other important equipment that helps ensure the safe enjoyment of rowing by our entire community. Donations to the Rockland Rowing are tax deductible within the guidelines of the law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your tax return, please keep your email or letter donation receipt (depending on your method of gift) as your official record. Our Charity ID # is 56-2353626. We accept donations by check (mail to PO Box 7, Nyack, NY 10960) or credit card (click on Donate Now button above).
