Power progress by supporting the Rockland Rowing Association.

Rockland Rowing Association is grateful for the generosity of individuals, businesses, and community partners like you. Your support helps us provide safe, accessible, and inspiring rowing experiences for everyone—youth, adults, and families alike. Explore the ways you can make a difference and help our community grow.

Individual Donors:

Individual donors play a vital role in expanding Rockland Rowing’s impact. As a not-for-profit community rowing association, we are funded through program dues and charitable donations. While program dues cover essential operating costs—such as coaching salaries, insurance, equipment maintenance, and facility rentals—donations and grants enable us to purchase rowing shells, oars, docks, coaching launches, and other equipment that ensure the safe enjoyment of rowing for our entire community.

Donations to Rockland Rowing are tax deductible within the guidelines of the law. To claim your donation as a deduction, please keep your email or letter donation receipt as your official record. Our Charity ID # is 56-2353626.

Corporate Sponsor:

Our lead corporate sponsor, Crestron Electronics, has generously contributed to the development of our rowing venue, including a new buoyed race course, large dock, and many critical improvements.

Corporate sponsors make the following possible:

  • New Grant Program: Encouraging scholarship, athleticism, and involvement in rowing

  • Expanded Fleet: Acquisition of a new Filippi quad, Filippi double, and a dozen pairs of Concept2 oars

  • Facility Upgrades: New dock, tents, and a brand-new training barge for new and adaptive rowers

Fundraising Events:

Rockland Rowing’s next gala fundraiser will be held on Thursday, October 6. We are honored to recognize Dan Feldstein, CEO of Crestron, and Olympian Charlotte Buck for their outstanding contributions. Dan and Crestron have played a significant role in our program’s development.

The evening begins at 6pm with a dedication of our new dock to Crestron founder George Feldstein, who rowed with us before his passing. Dinner follows at 7pm at Town & Country, across from Rockland Lake. During dinner, we will honor Dan and Charlotte, and induct Charlotte into our new Hall of Fame. Join us for an inspiring celebration of community, achievement, and the spirit of rowing!

RRA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit and donations are fully tax deductible to the extent of the law.  We will be happy to provide receipts for donations. Thank you for your support!
